University of Washington Quad Cherry Blossoms
The University of Washington Quad is Seattle's signature cherry-blossom scene: 29 Yoshino trees, now about ninety years old, originally planted in a grove (on or before 1936) and transplanted to the campus quadrangle in 1962. When they peak, the gothic-style brick halls frame a ceiling of pink that pulls thousands of visitors onto campus. For an RV trip this is a day-use city stop with no on-campus camping, so you base at a Seattle-area RV park and ride in.

Bloom is weather-dependent and typically falls in mid-to-late March; the date shifts every year

Plan it honestly
Peak bloom is weather-driven and never guaranteed on a set date; UW notes the bloom typically lands in mid-to-late March but the exact timing shifts year to year, and the week before and after still offer great viewing. Bloom timing tends to move earlier in warm springs, so check the official UW bloom updates and plan a flexible window. The Quad is day-use only with no RV parking.
