Insurance disclosure
On this page
PickRV is not an insurer
PickRV is NOT an insurance company, insurance agent, or insurance broker. PickRV holds no insurance producer, agency, or broker licence in any state, is not appointed by any carrier, and receives no commission, override, or contingent compensation tied to an insurance policy. Nothing on PickRV is a solicitation of insurance, and no PickRV employee or support agent is authorised to advise you on coverage adequacy, bind coverage, or make a coverage determination.
Marketplace role: PickRV lists vehicles owned by independent hosts and processes payment between renter and host. It is not a party to the rental agreement and is not a risk-bearing entity of any kind.
Coverage model — bring your own coverage
PickRV does not currently sell or offer insurance coverage. Renters arrange their own coverage and should confirm it before the trip — most personal auto policies exclude RV rentals, so verify with your insurer. The host's commercial policy applies per their certificate of insurance. PickRV is not an insurer.
PickRV does not sell coverage or publish a rate card. If a licensed insurance partner is contracted in the future, carrier-quoted pricing would be disclosed before purchase.
Carrier disclosure
PickRV does not currently offer insurance coverage, so there is no carrier of record to disclose. If a licensed insurance partner is contracted in the future, the carrier's name, NAIC number, AM Best rating, limits, deductible, and per-trip premium would be disclosed at checkout for each transaction, subject to state approvals, and coverage would be bound directly between the renter and the carrier. PickRV operates as a marketplace platform and would not be the carrier of record.
Cross-border (Mexico): Cross-border coverage into Mexico is not currently offered. US auto policies cannot legally place Mexico auto liability — coverage must come from a Mexican-admitted carrier (Comisión Nacional de Seguros). PickRV is evaluating Mexican-admitted partners and will announce availability when a partner is contracted.
State-specific notices
Insurance regulation is state-specific. PickRV provides supplementary state disclosures where required by peer-to-peer car-sharing statutes (California Insurance Code §11580.24, Maryland Transp. §17-1101, Washington RCW 48.175, Illinois 815 ILCS 711, etc.). Your booking confirmation includes the state-specific addendum applicable to your pickup location.
If your state requires additional disclosures, email support@pickrv.com for a copy.
