About PickRV
Who we are, and how PickRV works.
Owners list from every state, and every host is personally reviewed before a listing goes live.

Why PickRV exists
PickRV was built in Hollywood, Florida, after a close look at the existing RV-rental options. What kept turning up was opacity: mid-checkout fees, vague insurance, handoffs where nobody is sure who is responsible. We publish the numbers and the rules.

Added to the host's base; never taken from it.

Shown before anyone pays.
$0
hidden fees at checkout
Every line itemized before payment.
The green part is the host's base; the dark part is PickRV's 15% markup, baked into the listed price. Worked example: host sets $200 and keeps $200; listed price $230; renter pays $253 with the 10% service fee ($23) before tax.

Where we are today
Owners can list from every state
Owners can submit listings now. Each listing is published individually after review and required readiness checks.
Standing rule
No listing goes live unverified
Identity, registration and payout checks clear before a listing can be booked. Hosts carry their own commercial policy; PickRV does not verify or sell coverage.
- Identity check
- Vehicle registration
- Payout verification
Transparent
The numbers match everywhere
Markup, service fee and host payout are the same numbers hosts and renters see at checkout and in their own dashboards.
What we stand for
The full price, the rig, the rules and the cancellation window, all readable before money moves.
Honest scale
We publish what is true today, including the small parts. This page is the record.
Published economics
The nightly rate you see is the whole nightly rate. At checkout you add one platform fee — a transparent 10% service fee on the rental subtotal — plus any cleaning fee, every line itemized before you pay. Cancel at least 48 hours before pickup on any listing and the rental charges are refunded in full.
Bring your own coverage
PickRV does not sell or offer insurance coverage. Renters arrange their own coverage; hosts may carry their own commercial policy. PickRV is not an insurer.
Verified hosts, and the limit of it
Identity, registration and payout checks clear before a listing can be booked. Hosts carry their own commercial policy; PickRV does not verify or sell coverage. PickRV does not perform mechanical inspection of vehicles.
PickRV is not an insurer. Renters and hosts: read the coverage checklist before a trip.

A welcome, in writing
The owners who list early are the ones a marketplace is built on. Their badge is permanent: earned by showing up, never bought, never revoked. You set your own price, calendar and rules.

On the name: R V means more than one thing, on purpose
The two letters at the end of PickRV carry more meanings than "Recreational Vehicle." The acronym is a multi-meaning umbrella covering every rental category on the marketplace.
- Rental Vehicle: anything you rent
- Cars, vans, boats, off-road UTVs, motorhomes, towables, classic restorations: every rig on PickRV is a Rental Vehicle. See the catalogue.
- Rent Vacation: any trip-based rental
- Houseboats, camper vans, vintage Airstreams, multi-night Class A motorhomes. Here the rig itself is the trip. See vacation trips.
- Recreational Vehicle: the legal NHTSA classification
- The NHTSA defines a Recreational Vehicle (Class A, B, or C motorhome) as a self-propelled vehicle with permanent living quarters. PickRV's motorhome catalogue meets this definition.
- Route Vehicle: the rig that opens the trail
- UTVs, ATVs, side-by-sides, and trail-rated Jeeps are Route Vehicles, purpose-built for the routes paved-road rentals cannot reach. See off-road rentals.
Whether you rent an Airstream for a coast trip or a side-by-side for a Moab weekend, it is still PickRV.
