How opt-in works
- Renters: public profile is off by default. After a completed stay with a refunded deposit, you can opt in from Account → Profile and choose whether your trip story can be quoted, photographed, and linked.
- Hosts: visibility on the vendor profile is on by default once Stripe Connect KYC and identity verification clear. Hosts can flip a private mode at any time from Vendor → Profile.
- No fake activity: We never generate placeholder reviews, fictional traveler profiles, or simulated community posts. If you ever see content attributed to a person on PickRV, that person opted in.
- Anti-discrimination: The PickRV community guidelines are linked from the Trust Center and the Terms of Service.
