How we write. What we won't fake.

Every story, course, and newsletter on PickRV is bylined PickRV. The editorial team is small — it is currently the founder plus a rotating cast of contractors who handle photography, research, and tone review. Until the LLC files, we do not list contractor names publicly; the attribution is collective on purpose.

After the LLC files, individual contributor bylines may appear on specific pieces (with the contributor's consent). Until then, the byline is the team.

Every quantitative claim cites a primary source — NPS, NWS, CDC, USGS, state DMV, IRS, Recreation.gov, or the carrier's NAIC filing. Citations link to the source URL where the source publishes a URL. Where the source is offline (e.g., a state campground bulletin), we name the document and the date we read it. We do not cite Wikipedia for facts, and we do not cite competing marketplaces as sources for marketplace claims.

No section of a PickRV piece is pasted from another source. Every story and course carries a `uniqueAngle` field — the angle the piece exists to cover. Where we summarize public domain material (e.g., NPS visitor-services language), we paraphrase fully and credit the source. Where we use a competitor's published material under nominative fair use (e.g., a /vs/ page), we cite the competitor's URL and date of access.

Heritage features are reviewed by editorial staff for tone before publication. We do not exoticize communities, we do not invent traveler profiles to 'represent' a market, and we do not use language that flattens a family into a stereotype. Illustrative composites are labeled as such at the top of the piece. Real verified-stay subjects appear only with their explicit opt-in.

Where a piece references a vendor, supplier, or partner with a commercial relationship to PickRV, we disclose the relationship in the piece body. The founder's personal RV experiences are disclosed at the top of any piece in which they appear. PickRV does not accept sponsored content into the editorial archive.

Pieces with time-sensitive data (reservation windows, generator rules, tax rates, carrier disclosure) carry a `dateModified` field. When the underlying fact changes, we update the piece and bump the timestamp. We do not silently rewrite history; substantive edits add a 'Corrections' section to the piece body.

Every page that mentions traveler counts, completed trips, employee headcount, or institutional capital states what is actually true today. We do not borrow the credibility of past affiliated brands. We do not fabricate company longevity or cite a prior business as PickRV's history.

• PickRV is an early-stage RV rental marketplace founded in 2026 in Miami, FL.
• No institutional venture capital has been raised. No affiliation with any venture firm — we do not fabricate investor endorsements.
• PickRV is not an insurer and does not sell or offer coverage. Renters arrange their own coverage; hosts may carry their own commercial policy.
• Marketplace counts on listings and host profiles are computed live from the booking-engine data. The figures in editorial pieces are accurate as of the piece's published date.
• No editorial piece on PickRV is sponsored. No vendor pays for placement. The /shop section is labeled commerce; the /stories, /academy, /insider, /trust, and /editorial-standards sections are editorial.

1. 1. Report. Email support@pickrv.com with the URL of the piece, the section, and the issue. Photo tone, factual error, tone-deaf phrasing — every category is in scope.
2. 2. Review. The editorial team reviews the issue within five business days. We acknowledge receipt within one business day even if the review takes longer.
3. 3. Update. If the issue is correct, we update the piece, bump the dateModified, and — for substantive changes — add a "Corrections" section to the piece body explaining what was changed and why.
4. 4. Retraction. If a piece is materially wrong on a sensitive topic (cultural representation, safety facts, legal advice we should not have given), we retract the piece, replace it with a retraction note, and link to a corrected version where appropriate. The original URL remains and the retraction is permanent.
