How do I book an RV?

Search for RVs by location and dates, select your vehicle, and complete payment. If the listing has Instant Book, you're confirmed immediately. Otherwise, the host will respond within 24 hours.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. All payments are processed securely through our encrypted payment system.

When am I charged?

The full trip total is due at booking. For Instant Book listings and trips of $500 or more, your card is authorized right away and the charge is captured about 72 hours before your trip starts; all other bookings are charged when you confirm payment at Stripe checkout. Security deposits are a separate hold placed shortly before pickup — released after your trip unless a damage claim is filed.

How do refunds work?

Refund amounts depend on the cancellation policy (Flexible, Moderate, or Strict) and how far in advance you cancel. Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to your original payment method.

What insurance is included?

PickRV is not an insurer and does not sell or offer insurance coverage. The host's commercial RV policy applies by default, and renters arrange their own coverage. See /legal/insurance-disclosure for details.

What happens if there's damage?

Pre-trip and post-trip inspections document the vehicle's condition. If damage is found, it's resolved through our dispute process with photographic evidence. Security deposits cover most incidents.

Is roadside assistance included?

PickRV does not sell or offer coverage or roadside products. Independent roadside/RV memberships are available separately from third-party providers.

How much can I earn?

Earnings depend on vehicle type, location, season, and how many nights you accept. Early-stage internal projections sit in the $1,200-$2,800/mo gross range for peer-owner hosts at 25-35% utilization. What are the commission rates?

PickRV charges hosts a 15% commission, built into the listed price. Renters pay a transparent 10% service fee at checkout, plus state tax. It is one flat 15% standard commission — no subscription plans or paid tiers. There is no protection reserve. See /pricing for the full fee breakdown.

How do payouts work?

Stripe releases your payout 24 hours after pickup, and the funds land in your linked bank account in 1-2 business days. Direct deposit via Stripe Connect Express.
