Renters and hosts
Coverage checklist
PickRV is not an insurer and does not sell coverage. Confirm these items with your own insurer and the other party before pickup.
This list is not a policy, a quote, or a product. It is what to confirm yourself. PickRV does not place, underwrite, or sell coverage, and it does not name a carrier.
If you rent
- Read your own auto or RV policy. Call the number on the card and ask whether it covers you when you rent someone else's RV, boat, or off-road rig, and whether it covers towing.
- Do not assume a credit card covers this trip. Cards usually exclude RVs and boats.
- Ask the host, in writing: does your policy allow commercial rental of this rig?
- PickRV is not an insurer and does not sell or offer coverage.
- Photograph the rig at pickup and at return, including the odometer.
If you host
- Read your own commercial policy. Ask whether it allows this rig to be rented to someone else.
- PickRV is not an insurer and does not sell or offer coverage.
- Tell the renter to confirm their own policy. Do not treat their card as coverage.
- Cards usually exclude RVs and boats.
- Photograph the rig with the renter at pickup and at return, including the odometer.
