Your bill
The nightly rate on the listing, stable and all-in — the host's rate and PickRV's commission together, as one stable number.
Before state tax, cleaning, delivery and any coverage you choose — each on its own line at checkout. One Stripe charge; your card details never touch the owner.
Where it goes
Your service fee, delivery, insurance, tax and any promo you used are separate, itemized lines — the owner's price is paid in full.
Stripe's processing fees (~$36.90 on this charge) are passthrough — charged to the transaction, never retained by PickRV as extra profit. The owner is paid by direct transfer to their own Stripe account.
Worked example: the owner set a $1,000 base and receives it. The listed rental subtotal is $1,150 — that base with PickRV's flat 15% commission included — and you pay that plus a transparent $115 service fee (10%), plus state tax. PickRV's revenue is its commission plus your service fee, minus any promo absorption on that booking. All mechanics are transparent and server-verified.

Cancellation & refunds — what actually happens to your money
Default (host can set per listing): free cancellation up to 48 hours before pickup.
- Within 48 hours (or per the listing policy you accepted): you receive a full refund of the final amount paid (minus any components the host explicitly disclosed as non-refundable at booking time).
- After 48 hours: refundability is per the host's listing terms. Many hosts are strict; read the policy before you book.
Refunds are real Stripe refunds created server-side. Typical credit to your original card in 4-5 business days (up to 5-10 depending on your bank). You are not "out the money" while the host decides — PickRV and Stripe handle the flow server-side.
Insurance — not sold or offered by PickRV
PickRV does not sell or offer insurance coverage. Renters arrange their own coverage and should confirm it before the trip — most personal auto policies exclude RV rentals, and the host's commercial policy applies per their certificate of insurance.
PickRV is not an insurance company or underwriter and earns no commission on any coverage.
If a licensed insurance partner is contracted in the future, coverage options would be disclosed at checkout before you pay, subject to state approvals. Mexico cross-border is not offered.
