What lands in your account
Delivery, insurance, tax and promo discounts never reduce it. Stripe's destination payout fee (0.25% + $0.25 ≈ $2.75) applies to the transfer to your bank.
PickRV's revenue on this booking is the $150 commission (listed − base) plus the renter's $115 service fee, minus any promo absorption. Stripe's processing fees (~$36.90 on the card charge, ~$2.75 on the transfer) are passed through, never kept by PickRV. Exact amounts are computed on our servers and itemized on your payout statement.

Promo codes: who actually pays?
When a renter uses a promo or founder code, the discount is applied before checkout. Your host payout (the base price you set) is calculated on your base and never moves — the commission is PickRV revenue, not your money. The platform absorbs the discount by taking a smaller net commission on that booking.
Cancellation & refunds — transparent windows
Default policy (you can override per listing): free cancellation up to 48 hours before pickup.
- 0–48 h (or per your listing policy): renter receives full refund of the final paid amount (minus any components you explicitly disclosed as non-refundable).
- After 48 h: per your listing terms. Your payout is still calculated on the base price you set.
Refunds are real Stripe refunds created server-side. Typical arrival 4–5 business days to the original payment method. High-value or instant-book listings often use manual capture so you can still decline before funds move.
Insurance: optional, third-party, not us
Insurance is optional at checkout. Renters may decline and rely on their own policies (with clear warning that personal auto policies frequently exclude RV rentals; your commercial host policy applies per your certificate of insurance).
PickRV is not the insurer or underwriter and does not sell or offer coverage. Renters arrange their own coverage; hosts may carry their own commercial policy.
Mexico cross-border coverage is not offered.
