Cottage Grove Covered Bridges
The City of Cottage Grove's official page calls it the Covered Bridge Capital of Oregon, with six covered bridges in or around town: Centennial, Chambers Railroad, Currin, Dorena, Mosby Creek, and Stewart. They were built between 1920 and 1997, including Mosby Creek Bridge (1920), the oldest. It's a compact, walkable cluster well suited to an RV base at Dorena Lake, with the Row River Trail and Covered Bridges Scenic Bikeway linking several spans for cyclists and walkers. Drier summer-and-early-fall roads make touring easiest.
Best season
Summer and early fall for dry roads and the Row River Trail; October adds Willamette Valley color

Drive it safely
Per the city, most of these bridges are not open to RV-sized traffic: Mosby Creek Bridge keeps one lane open to vehicles, while Centennial and the nearby Swinging Bridge are pedestrian-only and others such as Dorena and Chambers Railroad are closed to vehicles (though viewable). Park your RV and explore on foot or bike — do not attempt to drive a motorhome through any historic span.
