Brooklyn Botanic Garden Cherry Blossoms
Brooklyn Botanic Garden's century-old flowering cherry collection is one of the most renowned outside Japan, with 26 species and cultivars planted across the Japanese Hill-and-Pond Garden, Cherry Walk, and the famous Cherry Esplanade, whose double rows of pink Kanzan trees draw the biggest crowds. The garden honors Hanami, the Japanese flower-viewing tradition, with seasonal programming. For RV travelers this is a ticketed day-use garden in the heart of the city, so you base outside New York and ride transit in to walk the blossoms.
