Indiana Dunes' only national-park campground has zero hookups and shuts down November 1
Dunewood Campground inside Indiana Dunes National Park (near Beverly Shores) runs only April 1 → November 1 and has no electric or water hookups at any site — you rely on the park's single dump station and central potable-water taps. Sites are reservable on a 6-month rolling window that opens annually on November 15, so a summer stay must be grabbed in winter. Plan to boondock on battery + generator and arrive with full fresh tanks.
