RV parking at Notre Dame Stadium: questions
Where do RVs park for Notre Dame home games?
In the pay lots that sell RV spaces: Saint Mary's College at $80 per RV, Holy Cross College at $250 per bus or RV and $100 per camper, and the Party Zone lot at $425, which can be bought ahead. Both college lots sit off State Road 933 with shuttle service to campus. fightingirish.com
Can you sleep in an RV in the lots?
No. Overnight parking is prohibited in every lot and towing from the game-day lots begins at 6 a.m., so an RV weekend here pairs a campground for the nights with a lot for the day. fightingirish.com
Which vehicles have to use an RV lot?
Anything wider than 7.5 feet or longer than 20 feet. Box trucks and rigs towing a trailer are refused in the standard lots, and oversized vehicles pay to park in the RV or bus lots. fightingirish.com
When do the RV lots open and close?
Saint Mary's and Holy Cross open at 8 a.m. for day kickoffs and 10 a.m. for night ones. Every lot closes three hours after the game ends, except the Burke Golf Course lot, which closes after two. fightingirish.com
What can you cook with at the tailgate?
A propane grill whose tank is under 20 lbs. Charcoal grills, fire pits, open flames, propane heaters and deep-frying are all prohibited in the tailgating lots. fightingirish.com
Can a tent go up beside the RV?
Tents and canopies up to 10 by 10 feet are allowed without stakes, and nothing may reach past the hash marks into the driving lanes. fightingirish.com
