Standard 4WD Jeeps and UTVs are less common because most trails involve water crossings or terrain unsuitable for street-tire conversions.

Is bear spray included?
Yes — every PickRV Alaska off-road rental includes bear spray, hardshell rain layer (Alaska weather), and a satellite communicator (Garmin InReach or equivalent). Cell coverage is nonexistent beyond Mat-Su valley.
Can I ride year-round?
Most off-road operations pause November-April due to snow. The winter season shifts to snowmachine (Alaskan for snowmobile) on the same trail networks.
