Colorado Parks & Wildlife ↗Colorado uses the three-class e-bike framework. Class 1 (pedal-assist) and Class 2 (throttle, assist to 20 mph) are permitted on many paved paths and, where the land manager allows it, on some natural-surface trails. Class 3 (assist to 28 mph) is commonly restricted to roads and bike lanes. Local land managers set the final rule for their own trails, so the bike's class is the fact you need on the listing before you book.
Watercraft inspection at the reservoirs
Colorado Parks & Wildlife — boating ↗Colorado runs an aquatic-nuisance-species inspection programme at reservoirs across the state. Trailered and motorised craft go through inspection stations; hand-launched kayaks, canoes and paddleboards are still expected to be cleaned, drained and dried between waters. Inspection-station hours are seasonal and a closed station can mean no launch that day.
Fire restrictions override the campsite rules you read last month

- Later than most visitors expect. Many passes and high trailheads are not clear until late June, and some hold snow into July after a heavy winter. If you are booking a June trip, plan the low-elevation option — Fruita, the Front Range, the lower Arkansas — as the real itinerary and treat the high country as a bonus.
