N/A — boat-access campsites only
Biscayne is 95% water — the mainland Dante Fascell Visitor Center near Homestead is the only road-accessible point in the park, and the developed campsites at Boca Chita Key and Elliott Key are reachable only by private boat. The visitor center parking lot accepts RVs of any length for the day visit, but overnight RV staging is at Homestead Bayfront Park, the Larry & Penny Thompson County Park, or the private RV parks along US-1 between Homestead and Florida City. Glass-bottom-boat and snorkel tours from the visitor center are the access route for visitors without their own boat. Hurricane season (June through November) regularly suspends boat tour operations on 3-5 days per month.
