Mount Rainier's RV season trails the Cascade snowpack by 4-6 weeks every year — Paradise's road plows out in late May most years but the Cougar Rock and Ohanapecosh campground water systems don't go live until the third week of June, and the season closes hard with the first measurable Stevens Canyon snowfall in October. Cougar Rock (on the Nisqually side) and Ohanapecosh (southeast) both run 35-ft length caps with dry-camp loops; no hookups exist anywhere inside the park boundary. Dump stations operate at Cougar Rock and Sunshine Point only in season. Stevens Canyon Road handles 35-ft rigs between Ohanapecosh and Paradise but the Paradise Inn loop turnaround caps lower; plan a tow vehicle if Paradise itself is the destination.
