Skip late August through early October, the peak hurricane stretch, when 4-6 p.m. supercells fire almost daily and heat indexes exceed 105 F inside a rig without 50-amp service. And whatever the season, avoid piloting a 35-foot Class A down I-4 or I-Drive in the 4-6 p.m. storm window — time arrivals before 3 p.m. or after 7 p.m.
