Bullfrog

Bullfrog sits 95 paved miles north of Wahweap on UT-276 and operates as the staging marina for Lake Powell's north basin and the Halls Crossing ferry crossing. The marina holds 425 slips and runs the lake's only car-ferry shuttle (every 90 minutes May through September, weather-permitting). Houseboat renters who want to skip the Wahweap-to-Rainbow-Bridge run-up favor Bullfrog because the put-in is 50 miles closer to the canyon-country headwaters at Hite. The four-lane launch ramp stays serviceable at pool elevations as low as 3,540 ft — below that, NPS publishes vessel-length restrictions on the Glen Canyon water-level page. Bullfrog RV Park holds 78 sites with electric hookups, a 45-ft rig cap, and a single dump station shared between the campground and the marina's transient slips. Diesel fuel is available alongside gasoline on the fuel dock year-round.
