Winter staging is realistic only for self-contained four-season rigs — WV-32 over the Allegheny Front averages 162 inches of seasonal snowfall per NWS Charleston records (highest annual average in the eastern US south of the Adirondacks), and the Canaan Valley loop closes Dec-Mar except for ski-area shoulder access.
