RV parking at Faurot Field: questions
Can I buy a single-game RV spot at Missouri?
No. The athletics department says single-game RV parking passes will not be available; Truman's Landing runs on season-long permits, which the Mizzou Athletics Fund handles. mutigers.com
When can RVs arrive, and when must they leave?
Staging in the lot or on the surrounding streets may not start before 5 p.m. Friday, when the lot opens. It closes at noon Sunday, with free sewage pumping from 8 to 10 a.m. that morning. mutigers.com
How much room does an RV get?
One RV space of no more than five standard parking stalls, with awnings, pull-outs, grills and furniture kept inside it. One support vehicle may come along, towed, towing or separate, and parks inside the same five stalls or parallel to an RV longer than that. mutigers.com
What are the generator and grill rules?
A generator needs a noise-reducing cover or muffler, and one above 80 decibels is generally deemed too loud. Enclosed gas grills are allowed and enclosed charcoal grills are tolerated; open fires on the ground or in fire pits are not. mutigers.com
Can I tent-camp or sleep in a pickup?
No. Tent camping, and camping in tow vehicles, pickups or anything not designated a recreational vehicle, is not allowed in Truman's Landing. Stakes are banned on the pavement, and pets stay leashed inside the RV space or the RV itself. mutigers.com
