DC parkway restrictions — federal RV-prohibited routes
The federal parkways in the DC area prohibit commercial vehicles and RVs. Use I-95 / I-495.
The DC metropolitan area has multiple federally-managed parkways: George Washington Memorial Parkway (Virginia), Rock Creek Parkway (DC), Baltimore-Washington Parkway (Maryland), and Suitland Parkway. All are designated for passenger vehicle traffic only. RVs and commercial vehicles use I-95, I-495 Beltway, or surface routes.
