Land-speed racing on the salt — hot rods chasing 300+ mph on a lakebed like nowhere else on Earth. Class A · Class B · Class C — rent the rig you drive.
There is nothing on the salt: no water, no power, no dump, no shade. Spectators drive out for the day, park along the marked spectator line, and sleep back in Wendover on the Utah-Nevada line, where the KOA runs full hookups, or in dispersed camping off the access road. The motorhome is the shade and the kitchen, so arrive with the fresh tank full and the holding tanks empty.
Salt is corrosive. Rinse the underside, the steps and the brake hardware the same day you drive on it, and keep the generator intake out of blown dust. Running days depend on the surface, and past editions have been shortened when water stood on the flats, so keep the booking flexible.
