The closest serious state park is Cedars of Lebanon State Park (30 mi E of downtown) with 117 hookup sites in the largest red cedar forest in the eastern US.
Two Rivers Campground (private, 10 mi NE of downtown on Briley Pkwy near the Grand Ole Opry) is the closest hookup option and books 12 months ahead for CMA Fest. Nashville sits at 597 ft on the Cumberland River — flash flood risk is real and rapid (the 2010 floods cleared after a 14-inch rain event). Plan dump and propane in town, base out of Cedars of Lebanon or Two Rivers, and book event windows 12+ months ahead.
