Greenville Code of Ordinances Sec. 42-89 (Oversized vehicles)
No oversized vehicle — defined as any vehicle exceeding 85 inches in height or 250 inches in length, or having a rated capacity over two tons — may be parked on any street or public right-of-way for more than two hours. Time needed for pickup, loading, unloading or delivery is excepted but may never exceed 24 hours.
It shall be unlawful for any person to park any propelled or non-propelled oversized vehicle on any street or public right-of-way for any period exceeding two hours. For the purposes of this section, the term "oversized vehicle" is defined as any vehicle exceeding 85 inches in height or 250 inches in length, or any vehicle having a rated capacity exceeding two tons, except that such vehicle may be stopped or parked for such length of time as may be necessary for the pickup and loading or unloading and delivery of passengers or materials, but in no event shall such period exceed 24 hours.
