What's the route through the four Rocky Mountain parks?
Start at Denver. RMNP via Trail Ridge Road. North via WY-287 + US-26 to Grand Teton. Yellowstone south entrance. Loop Yellowstone. East entrance via Cody and Beartooth Highway to MT. North via I-90 + US-89 to Glacier. About 1,500 miles total. Allow 21 days minimum for a meaningful experience at each park.

Day-by-day suggested
Days 1-3: Denver → Estes Park → Trail Ridge Road → Grand Lake.
Days 4-5: Grand Lake → Cheyenne → Lander (rest day).
Days 6-8: Lander → Grand Teton (Jackson Lake, Colter Bay).
Days 9-15: Yellowstone — multiple campground stops.
Days 16-17: Cody via Beartooth.
Days 18-19: Bozeman → St Mary.
Days 20-21: Glacier (east side + Going-to-the-Sun shuttle if big rig).
