How long for a Four Corners RV trip?
Bare minimum 10 days for a focused sampling. 14-21 days for an unhurried multi-park exploration. The integrated circuit including Utah's five national parks + Mesa Verde + Monument Valley + Chaco Canyon takes 28 days at a contemplative pace. Spring (April-May) and fall (September-October) are ideal — summer brings 100°F+ heat.

Multiple tribal nations
Tribal sovereignty in Four Corners
The Four Corners region includes substantial sovereign tribal lands. The Navajo Nation occupies the largest contiguous reservation in the US, spanning AZ + NM + UT. The Hopi Nation is fully surrounded by the Navajo Nation. The Ute Mountain Ute Tribe holds lands in CO + UT + NM. The Southern Ute Indian Tribe is in CO.
Visiting tribal lands as a tourist is welcomed at most cultural centers and tribal parks. Sovereignty applies — respect tribal rules, photography restrictions, and behavior expectations.
