How far ahead can you reserve an RV site at a state park?
It depends on the state. Montana's parks say up to three months, Texas's five, Colorado's six, Washington's nine and Arizona's 365 days; Florida gives its residents 11 months and non-residents 10.
Fifteen park systems, in their own words
Thirteen systems print their window, and none of the thirteen pages sets one RV length limit for a whole park system; Washington's tells campers to know the length of their RV or trailer.

Florida: daily release and cancelled sites
Florida gives residents an 11-month reservation window and non-residents a 10-month window. The park agency says new sites enter the reservation system daily at 8 a.m. Eastern time. If you are planning from another time zone, use the local equivalent of Eastern time for your intended release day.
Cancelled sites return to inventory after the cancellation, so another check later in the day can be useful. Neither the release time nor a cancellation guarantees a site. Confirm the dates, park-specific rules and your RV's fit through Florida State Parks before arranging the rest of the trip.
