Autumn is the best season to travel slow: apple orchards, pumpkin patches, cider mills, and farm stands strung along back roads made for an RV. These are the regions worth building a fall loop around, anchored on official state agritourism trails so the route is real. Each lists its harvest window, what's in season, and a campground to base at. Peak shifts a week or two each year with the weather — and the farms are private businesses, so confirm hours before you roll in.
