Florida Gulf + Keys (Naples → Marco → Key Largo): warmer than AZ (70-80°F) but humidity higher + hurricane-season tail risk through November. Florida snowbird parks book 12 months ahead.

Texas Rio Grande Valley (McAllen → Brownsville → South Padre Island): the cheapest of the four corridors. 'Winter Texans' culture: organized dance halls, community libraries, Mexican border-town day trips.

Southern California Desert (Anza-Borrego → Palm Springs → Imperial): the highest-amenity corridor. Wellness + spa-resort orientation, premium pricing $800-1,500/month for full hookups.

Avoid Phoenix proper if you want cool nights — urban heat island keeps overnight lows in the 50s. Coastal Florida cools to mid-50s overnight; Quartzsite + Borrego desert cools to 40s.

Florida Keys has decent coverage on US-1 but spotty on side roads. Rio Grande Valley is well covered. Anza-Borrego is variable.

Medical access: each corridor has 1-2 major hospital systems. Verify your Medicare or insurance is in-network at the destination corridor BEFORE arrival. Many snowbirds enroll in 'snowbird' supplemental coverage that adds out-of-network providers in destination states.
