Lollapalooza 2028 — Grant Park, Chicago. Class A · Class B · Class C — rent the rig you drive.
Suburban pad plus train
Grant Park is downtown and there is nowhere to put a motorhome near it, so the format is a suburban pad and a commuter train. Chicago Northwest KOA at Union posts no length cap on full hookups and runs a weekend shuttle to the Metra station, with roughly an hour on the train from Crystal Lake into the city.
On the Indiana side, Indiana Dunes State Park has electric on a hundred and forty sites to fifty feet with water at the host station, and the South Shore Line runs from there into the Loop. Late July in Chicago brings heat advisories, so a fifty-amp pedestal and a second working air conditioner are what make four festival days bearable.
