Perry is one of the easiest fair trips in the country for a towable because the fairgrounds were built with one: the Georgia National Fairgrounds keep a permanent RV campground with hookups on the property, steps from the gates. During fair week those sites are the first thing to sell, so reserve through the fairgrounds as early as booking opens and read the site map — rows differ in length and in how much midway noise reaches them.
The grounds sit directly off the interstate in middle Georgia, which keeps the tow simple: flat approaches, big lots, fuel at the exits. October days stay warm while the evenings finally cool enough to sit outside, and the barns and concerts run late through both fair weekends. If the on-site park fills, state parks within a half-hour offer quieter nights at the cost of a morning commute.
