Outside the SP, Lake Cascade State Park (35 mi south on Hwy 55) and Payette National Forest USFS sites along the Payette River corridor add capacity. McCall city code restricts overnight on-street RV parking; commercial RV parks (Bear Creek Lodge area, McCall RV Resort) handle full-hookup demand.

Hwy 55 (the only paved route in and out, locally called the Payette River Scenic Byway) carries a CDOT-equivalent ITD winter chain advisory from November through April; the Banks-to-Lowman cutoff (Banks Lowman Rd) is closed in winter.
