This is GRIZZLY BEAR country. Bear spray is mandatory, not optional. Carry it on your person at all times outside the RV.

Mill Creek Road (south of Livingston) has excellent dispersed sites along a beautiful mountain stream.

The Beartooth Highway is typically open late May through mid-October. Snow can close it any month.
