Shoshone Falls
Idaho
Shoshone Falls plunges 212 feet across a wide basalt cliff—wider than Niagara Falls during high flow. An easy walk from the RV lot leads to platforms where you can feel the roar of the Snake River and admire the rainbow in the mist.
RV access
RV parking available in the Shoshone Falls Park lot (some designated oversized spaces); a short paved walk (0.1 mile) leads to viewing platforms overlooking the 212-foot cascade.
Nearest RV base
Twin Falls KOA or Shoshone Falls Park's own RV-friendly parking (limited full hookups nearby).
Plan it honestly
Peak flow occurs in late spring (April–June) during snowmelt; late summer flow is much reduced. Check the city's park page for current conditions and any temporary closures.
