America's oldest state park — established 1885 after Frederick Law Olmsted's lobbying campaign to free Niagara from private commercial control — wraps the American and Bridal Veil Falls plus Goat Island and the Three Sisters Islands. The park is day-use only, no developed campground, no RV overnight inventory. Daily parking lots (Lot 1, 2, and 3 on Goat Island; the Aquarium lot off Robert Moses Parkway) accept rigs of any length but Robert Moses Parkway itself bottlenecks Class A traffic at the Whirlpool Bridge approach. RV staging for the Niagara region routes to Four Mile Creek State Park (270 sites with electric, 30 miles east on Lake Ontario), Branches of Niagara Campground (private, full hookups, 14 miles south in Grand Island), or KOA Niagara Falls Erie Canal. The Maid of the Mist boat and the Cave of the Winds elevator down to the falls' base are the marquee experiences.
