NYC truck routes — RV-legal routes
NYC DOT publishes the legal truck-and-RV routes. Use them.
New York City Department of Transportation publishes a designated truck-route map showing the streets and corridors where commercial vehicles (and by extension, RVs) are legally permitted. Outside of these routes, RVs may be cited for unauthorized commercial-vehicle use.

Where can my RV legally drive in NYC?
On NYC DOT designated truck routes only. The map is published on the NYC DOT website. Major RV-legal corridors include: I-95 Cross Bronx, I-87 Major Deegan, I-278 BQE, I-495 LIE. Avenue + street truck routes vary by borough and neighborhood. Verify your route before entering the city.
