Under-shared truth: even a 90%+ partial eclipse looks like a normal sunny day to casual observers. Without ISO 12312-2 glasses you literally cannot see the partial eclipse happening. Marketing photos of 'partial' eclipses are heavily filtered. Set realistic expectations for partial-viewing trips.
Second under-shared truth: 2026 annular (October 14, US path) + 2024 totals (April + August, US path) are easier US-based options than chasing the 2027 international event. For US RV travellers, prioritize the 2026 annular.
