WE Fest happens on a ranch property south of Detroit Lakes, and it has been a camping event for decades — the campground tiers are part of the ticket structure, not an afterthought. Early August in Minnesota lakes country means real heat, sudden thunderstorms and mosquitoes at dusk — screens, awning weights and a weather app cover most of it.
