The Chattahoochee River flows through downtown Helen and tubing on it is a major summer activity. Anna Ruby Falls (USFS Chattahoochee-Oconee NF, inside Unicoi SP boundary) is the headline natural attraction. Helen city code restricts overnight RV parking in the downtown commercial zone.

Routes in: GA-75 from the south (Cleveland to Helen) is the main approach and includes some tight turns near downtown but is generally RV-friendly. GA-348 (Richard B.
