The actual basecamp options sit at two state parks: Nehalem Bay State Park (20 mi south via US-101) with 265 sites and full hookups on most, and Cape Lookout State Park (35 mi south via US-101) with 173 sites and full hookups on a subset. Ecola State Park (just north of Cannon Beach off US-101) is a spectacular day-use coastal viewpoint but has no RV camping.
