How hosting works
Three steps. Every listing is reviewed by our team before it goes live.
- Step 1 of 3
Build your listing
6 guided steps: rig, details, photos, price, rules and submit. Autosaves as you go, so you can leave and pick up exactly where you stopped.
- Step 2 of 3
We review the actual rig
Our team reviews your real listing — photos, specs, pricing. You watch the status from your host dashboard the whole time.
- Step 3 of 3
Go public on opening day
Once approved, your rig goes public on October 25, the day PickRV opens for bookings; from then on it appears in your state's search. PickRV creates each booking's payout after the trip-end gates — 2 days after the trip ends with a verified 6-photo pickup walkthrough, else 7 days; Stripe then sends a standard US bank transfer — PickRV does not set the bank post date.
List motorhomes, campervans, towables, off-road rigs, boats, classic touring cars, trucks or cars — every category on one platform.
You keep 100% of your base rate — plus your cleaning fee
PickRV adds a 15% markup on top of your base to form the listed price (10% for partner hosts, with no end date), and renters pay their own 10% service fee, so nothing comes out of what you keep.

How the season shapes demand in Colorado
Seasonality — modeling aid
Best demand window: June to September.
High country is accessible and wildflowers peak; winters bring heavy snow that closes many mountain roads and campgrounds.
Watch out: Afternoon thunderstorms are common in summer; altitude sickness is real above 8,000 feet. Winter driving requires chains or 4WD.
Shoulder tip: Late May and early October have beautiful weather in many areas but snow can still appear overnight in the mountains.
Filled = prime month · outlined = caution months (NOAA + state tourism boards — see the Colorado seasonal calendar).
Directional guidance from public seasonal data — not a PickRV demand forecast, and not applied to the math on this page. Your occupancy input stays yours; many hosts sanity-check it by modeling the demand window higher and the off-season lower than one flat number.
