What you need to know
Inkcarceration 2027 runs Jul 16–18, 2027, in Mansfield, Ohio. Pack 50 to 75 feet of power cord and a 50-foot hose with a splitter; the festival's pedestals can sit well away from your site and its water taps are shared.
Inkcarceration returns to the Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield on July 16 through 18, 2027, and every festival pass includes a tour of the famous prison building and entry to the Tattoo X show.
The festival campground is not at the reformatory: it sits at the Richland County Fairgrounds about four miles away, linked to the festival by a free shuttle during festival hours. Camping passes cover four nights, indoor restrooms and showers, 24-hour security and medical help, a general store, and bands after the festival closes each night. Power and water are extras bought with the pass. RV sites run on 30- or 50-amp service with the pedestal up to 75 feet from the rig, adapters from a 50-amp rig to a 30-amp pedestal are not allowed, and water connections are shared, so the festival tells campers to bring a long hose and a splitter. Once a vehicle is checked in and parked, the festival generally does not let it leave the campground.
Safety rules and an insider tip
