What you need to know
Circleville Pumpkin Show 2027 runs Oct 20–23, 2027, in Circleville, Ohio. Ride the show's park-and-ride shuttle instead of hunting for a downtown space: the Pumpkin Show lists it as run by PICCA, Amvets and the Ohio Christian University baseball team.
Circleville keeps its pumpkin show on a rule rather than a fresh announcement: the organizers hold it on the third Wednesday through Saturday of October, so the 2027 show runs Wednesday, October 20 through Saturday, October 23.
The town's downtown becomes the fairground. Amusement rides stand in the streets, pumpkin pies and pumpkin donuts sell by the tray, the show stages parades, and it crowns its largest pumpkins, all with no admission charge. An RV trip here works best with the rig parked outside town. A.W. Marion State Park, an Ohio State Parks property near Circleville on the quiet water of Hargus Lake, runs a small, pet-friendly campground with electric and non-electric sites, flush restrooms and a camp store, and the show's park-and-ride shuttles handle the last miles downtown.
Safety rules and an insider tip
Safety + legal. Ohio State Parks allows squirrel hunting in designated areas of A.W. Marion's woods from October 15, so wear something bright on the lakeshore trail, and pack warm layers for evenings in the crowded streets.
