St. Ignace Code of Ordinances Sec. 20-62(2) (City parks/access sites; unlawful acts)
Ignace, camping on city-owned public parks and boat-launch access sites is unlawful except where specific camping sites or areas are provided and designated; where camping is allowed, no more than 15 days total on one site per calendar year, and a campsite may not be left unoccupied for more than 24 hours. Ignace's harbour-side lots and boat launches are the obvious places to stop when you have missed the last ferry — and they are exactly what this section closes. Book a campground before you arrive.

St. Ignace Code of Ordinances Sec. 20-61 (Definitions)
Ignace defines "camp" to include parking and occupying a travel or house trailer, and sleeping in any type of motor vehicle after 10:00 p.m. — so sleeping in an RV at a city park or boat launch counts as camping under Sec. The 10:00 p.m. line is the one that catches people: parking legally in the evening is fine, but staying in the rig past 10 turns it into camping.
