What you need to know
Talladega Spring Race Weekend 2027 runs Apr 24–25, 2027, in Lincoln, Alabama. Treat spring infield camping like a concert on-sale: for the April 2026 weekend the speedway called it sold out on March 27, weeks before the green flag.
Talladega Superspeedway has posted its spring 2027 weekend for Saturday, April 24 and Sunday, April 25, and the track treats camping as half of the experience: its fall 2026 camping page sold infield campgrounds with power, water or full hookups, open camping areas outside the gates, and glamping tents inside the infield road course. The sell-out calendar is the planning fact. For the April 2026 weekend the speedway announced on March 27 that infield RV camping was gone, so anyone who wants a rig inside the track for 2027 should treat the renewal and on-sale dates as the real deadline. Late April in east Alabama can also bring strong storm lines, which is worth packing for when camp is an open field.
Safety rules and an insider tip
Safety + legal. April storms can roll across open campgrounds fast; know where the speedway sends campers in severe weather, stake down awnings and canopies, and keep the rig ready to close up.
