AirVenture Oshkosh 2027 — 74th EAA fly-in, world's busiest airport for one week. Class A · Class B · Class C — rent the rig you drive.
Camp Scholler is dry camping
The on-field option is dry: no hookups, a designated dump and water fill, generator hours the crew enforces, and quiet from ten at night to seven in the morning. Reservations open through the association the September before, which is the real deadline for a rig.
Off the field, Hideaway Lake Campground sits about fifteen miles southwest at Pickett and Calumet County Park about twenty-five miles south at Stockbridge. Wittman has almost no shade, so an awning, reflective window covers and a battery bank that survives a generator curfew do more for the week than a pedestal would. Late July in Wisconsin builds afternoon thunderstorms; roll the awning in when you leave for the flightline.
