Doris has 70+ sites with mixed water/electric and primitive, in a Quanah Parker Lake setting that earns its reputation as the most underused great-photo location in Oklahoma RV camping. Reservations open 6 months ahead through recreation.gov. The refuge is closed to vehicle traffic after dark on most internal roads — plan day-use sightseeing accordingly.

Fort Sill is an active Army installation with public museum access at the Fort Sill National Historic Landmark (which interprets Apache leader Geronimo's confinement and burial) — public access at museum lot only.
