Lindenwood Park (city-operated, on the Red River within Fargo) is the in-city RV anchor with electric on most of ~70 sites, walking access to downtown Fargo and Moorhead MN across the river. The flood-context is significant: the Red River flows north and historically crests in April; major floods in 1997, 2009, and 2011 closed riverside parks for weeks. Always check NWS Grand Forks river-forecast page before any pre-Memorial-Day arrival.
Fort Ransom State Park (75 mi southwest) is the regional ND Parks option with electric hookups, prairie setting, and access to the Sheyenne River. Buffalo River State Park (15 mi east in Minnesota) is the cross-state alternative. Diesel and propane are abundant — Fargo is the regional logistics hub. Pilot/Flying J, Loves, and Flying J cluster on I-94 west of city. AmeriGas and Suburban Propane have city-side refill yards.
