No motor home, house trailer, or commercial vehicle rated 10,000 lb GVWR or more may be parked on a subdivision street in the A1, A2, A2.5, A3 or A4 residential districts for 72 hours or more.

Baton Rouge / East Baton Rouge Parish Code of Ordinances Sec. 13:107 (Camping in a public area prohibited)
It is unlawful to camp in any public area not designated as a camping area by the city-parish. 'Camp' includes storing personal belongings, making a camp fire, using a tent, shelter or other structure for living accommodation, or carrying on cooking activities. 'Public area' includes all streets, the area under a highway overpass, sidewalks, alleys, parks, squares, grounds and buildings. The definition of 'camp' catches cooking, which is the thing RV travellers do without thinking — firing up the galley in a downtown lot is inside this definition. Note subsection (c): unless there is an imminent health or safety threat, an officer must take a step before citing you, so a warning is the normal first move rather than an instant ticket.
